A new client to SG10s Solutions is seeking a new leader for multiple data projects

SG10 Solutions have been retained by one of London’s most innovative advanced analytics product centres to secure two Senior Technical Project Managers.


The Company:


The city based company has doubled in size over the last two years though has retained its start-up feel and has funded this exponential growth though a major cash injection from its parent company.

Both Project Managers will report into a newly appointed Head of Projects who has been recruited secured from a top analytics project at a prestigious investment bank.

The company has an extremely agile way of working – both project managers will work very closely and be asked to act as a scrum master on occasions.


The Technology:


You will be comfortable managing teams on complex java development projects.  Whilst you may not have dealt with these tools professionally the company has built a big data lake using apache spark.  Without being technically hands-on it is important to understand the pressures and needs of your development team.  It is therefore essential that their project managers show and enthusiasm for working with new and exciting open source technologies.


The Business:


The company deals with a wide ranging client portfolio – it includes big names from Formula 1, Niche investment practices and public sector organisations.  The Project Managers will need to display commercial acumen, outstanding versatility and commitment to keeping pace with an every changing domain.

The right project managers will be those who are comfortable in working on multiple projects and be able to appreciate the importance of flagging risk, forecasting and maximising budgets.

You will have the ability to recruit further technologists from day one.
